Today we’re going to take a little departure from the typical colon cleansing reviews to take a look at a new product that has hit the market called “Integra-Lean Irvingia” from Life Extension and to see if Irvingia really works for weight loss.

During the one-month study period all subjects were on a normocaloric diet evaluated every week by a dietetic record book. At the end, the mean body weight of the IG group was decreased by 5.26 +/- 2.37% (p < 0.0001) and that of the placebo group by 1.32 +/- 0.41% (p < 0.02).

That’s correct – after a month of eating Irvingia seeds, the subjects in the study lost anywhere from 3 to 7 percent of their body weight, placing Irvingia in an elite category of weight loss supplements.
